My own personal experience of Pilates began after years of enjoying yoga, cycling, long-distance walking, and swimming. In my late 40s I began experiencing persistent aches, recurring injuries, and a gradual loss of muscle tone. This led me to start attending Pilates classes. Its focus on deep postural strength, alignment, and mindful movement, helped me feel more stable, pain-free, and connected in my body.
Pilates is for everyone—regardless of age, gender, or experience. It’s a practice that helps build core strength, restore balance, and support long-term wellbeing.
